Portfolio of recent projects. Our domestic projects range from large one-off houses to small kitchen extensions. Our work includes loft extensions and garden rooms.
New build House. County Durham.
The site came with outline planning for a dormer bungalow.
The existing 1950's bungalow was replaced with a 4 Bed house with integral garage.

Lowsteads Bastle. Wark.
Extension to Grade 2 listed building in Northumberland.
A bastle (or bastille House) is a fortified farmhouse built for defense along the Anglo-Scottish border, an area plagued by the Reivers or raiders. This extension was build on the edge of a steep ravine.

Church renovation and conversion.
Change of use of existing church building to residential to provide 5 bed home in the village of Shotley Bridge. County Durham.

Extension to early Edwardian Villa, County Durham.

Woodsyde. Remodelling project.
Complete refurbishment of 1950's Villa style bungalow with loft extension to provide large 4 Bed house with South-facing views onto garden.

The Poplars workshop. County Durham.
The site already had a concrete built coach house dating back to to early 1900 that was near collapse. The workshop is constructed from green Douglas fir using traditional building techniques.

Woodlands Road extension
Rear extension to provide large open plan kitchen with views onto rear garden.

Braeside extension
Large 3 storey extension to existing models 2 storey house including full 3 height feature stair and attic room.

Full house refurbishment to provide open plan living with views South over village green.

Lindisfarne Avenue
Full House refurbishment including full insulation and airtightness retrofit to provide low energy dwelling.

North Elmfield
Complete internal refurbishment of existing Victorian property. The property was originally a single villa dwelling that has now been subdivided into 2 separate units.
Project Completion: Incomplete.
Woodlands Road 2 storey rear extension
A complicated extension to provide a large open plan kitchen and dining area by extending out into the garden. the extension comprised a wrap-around extension and re-construction of a 2 storey rear extension to provide a new en-suite to the master bedroom.
Project Completion: 2017
New garage and garden landscaping including raised decking.
Re-landscaping of existing rear yard and parking area to rear of property to provide raised beds and new garden landscaping with decking and BBQ area.
